Rahat Jahangir Rony

Rahat Jahangir Rony is a dedicated researcher and managing director with extensive experience in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). Currently serving as a PhD candidate at Cardiff University since November 2022, Rahat also holds the position of managing director at Methopoth Limited and has been a research scientist at DIAL: Design Inclusion & Access Lab since November 2020. Additionally, involvement includes roles as a reviewer for multiple HCI conferences and a treasurer for Dhaka ACM SIGCHI Chapter. Prior experience includes working as a research scientist and coordinator for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on gender and technology in Bangladesh, and organizing key events focused on HCI in South Asia. Educational qualifications encompass a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from North South University and ongoing PhD studies in Computer Science and Informatics at Cardiff University.
