Michael Kruse

Michael Kruse, CPA, currently serves as Financial Accounting Controller and Risk Manager at North Star BlueScope Steel since October 2022. Kruse has a robust accounting background with over a decade of experience at The Andersons, Inc., where roles have included Senior Accounting Manager, Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, and Senior Internal Auditor since October 2013. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Audit Associate at CliftonLarsonAllen from July 2010 to October 2013 and Audit Associate at Clifton Gunderson LLP from June 2008 to June 2010. Kruse began a career in finance as a Financial Consultant at Bowling Green State University, collaborating with over 75 student organizations between August 2007 and July 2008. Educational achievements include a Master’s degree in Accounting and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Bowling Green State University.
