David Williams has extensive experience in both behavioral health and military leadership. Currently serving as a Healthy Community Collaborative Case Manager and Crisis Diversion Coordinator at North Texas Behavioral Health Authority since December 2022, David has previously worked as a Financial Advisor at First Command Financial Services, Inc. David's military career spans over two decades, including roles such as Division Chief of Mission Assurance at United States Strategic Command and various leadership positions within the United States Air Force. David holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Arts in Homeland Defense and Security from Naval Postgraduate School, a Master of Arts in Counseling and Human Behavior from Liberty University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Memphis.
North Texas Behavioral Health Authority
The North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA) is the state designated Local Behavioral Health Authority (LBHA) for the counties of Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro and Rockwall. NTBHA was created to be a safety net for our behavioral health system of care, which encompasses mental health, substance use, and crisis services for persons eligible for Medicaid and/or public behavioral health funds within our six county region.
