George Creach

George Creach has extensive experience in the mental health field, currently serving as a Utilization Management professional at North Texas Behavioral Health Authority since January 2017. In addition, George has been working as a Contractor since November 2015. Previously, George held the position of Director of Utilization Review at Timberlawn Hospital from July 2003 to July 2015, overseeing the Utilization Review Department and conducting concurrent reviews with insurance companies. Earlier in their career, George worked as a Case Manager at Value Option/NorthStar from February 2001 to July 2003, where responsibilities included reviewing clinical data and assisting insurance members regarding mental health and substance abuse benefits. George earned a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Amber University between 1990 and 1992.

North Texas Behavioral Health Authority

The North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA) is the state designated Local Behavioral Health Authority (LBHA) for the counties of Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro and Rockwall. NTBHA was created to be a safety net for our behavioral health system of care, which encompasses mental health, substance use, and crisis services for persons eligible for Medicaid and/or public behavioral health funds within our six county region.
