Kayla Rabb, MS, is currently a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas Christian University and serves as the Strategic Outreach Coordinator for the North Texas Behavioral Health Authority. In addition, Kayla holds the position of Chief Community Strategist at New Light Church Mesquite. Previous experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at Texas Christian University and as a Program Coordinator Intern at The Urban Leaders Fellowship, where efforts focused on grassroots policy plans addressing racial equity and sustainability in the Dallas Independent School District. Kayla's education includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Experimental Psychology and a Master of Science in Psychology, both from Texas Christian University, alongside a Master of Science in Developmental Trauma and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Baylor University, graduating Cum Laude.
North Texas Behavioral Health Authority
The North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA) is the state designated Local Behavioral Health Authority (LBHA) for the counties of Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro and Rockwall. NTBHA was created to be a safety net for our behavioral health system of care, which encompasses mental health, substance use, and crisis services for persons eligible for Medicaid and/or public behavioral health funds within our six county region.
