Whitney Lee, M.S., LMFT-A, currently serves as a Therapist at North Texas Behavioral Health Authority since January 2017 and as a Geriatric Program Therapist at Hickory Trail Hospital, L.P. since February 2015. Previously, Whitney worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services from October 2014 to February 2015 and as a Clinical Services Assistant at ValueOptions, Inc.® from October 2012 to September 2014. Additional experience includes roles as a Counseling Intern at Timberlawn Psychiatric Hospital and as a Practicum Student Counselor at the SMU Center for Family Counseling. Whitney holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Texas.
North Texas Behavioral Health Authority
The North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA) is the state designated Local Behavioral Health Authority (LBHA) for the counties of Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro and Rockwall. NTBHA was created to be a safety net for our behavioral health system of care, which encompasses mental health, substance use, and crisis services for persons eligible for Medicaid and/or public behavioral health funds within our six county region.
