We are North Tyneside Big Local part of Whitley Bay Big Local, the community-led charity that owns and runs the Whitley Bay Hub in Whitley Bay and now Renew North Tyneside in the Royal Quays.

Our vision? To make North Tyneside and the surrounding areas an even better place to live, work and visit. A place where people feel more connected to each other and to their town, by working together we can achieve this.

We’re all about bringing people together and helping you to develop the skills and confidence to take positive action.

That's why we take the time to listen and find out what matters most to you. So far this has included projects to help combat loneliness, support people who are trying to make ends meet, and taking small but meaningful steps together to address global climate change.

Come and see us at The Hub where you can have a coffee, get some information or advice, join an activity group, volunteer, and much much more.

North Tyneside Big Local isn't maintained by any Government grants, core funding, or money from Big Local. As an independent community charity, we need donations from local people to keep our doors open and continue to provide support to local people. Whether it's a one-off or regular donation, your donations directly fund our activities, providing vital support to people. If you would like to make a donation the link is below and we thank you in advance 🩵
