Aaron McDonald, P.Eng. has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Aaron began their career as a Maintenance Summer Student at Petro-Canada in 2007 and later worked as an Engineering Summer Student at the same company in 2008. In 2010, Aaron joined West Fraser as a Jr. Mechanical Engineer. Aaron then joined North West Redwater Partnership in 2013 and held various roles within the company, including Reliability Engineer and Lead - Reliability Engineering. At North West Redwater Partnership, Aaron was responsible for facilitating root cause analyses, performing risk assessments, developing custom tools, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Throughout their career, Aaron has demonstrated a strong dedication to maximizing plant reliability and improving maintenance practices.

Aaron McDonald, P.Eng. graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2009. In addition to their degree, they hold certifications in Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) from the Alberta Construction Safety Association. Aaron also has certifications in First Aid and CPR Level C, H2S Alive, and Industrial Rail Inspection. The specific months and years of obtaining these additional certifications are not provided.
