Ali Omer, Ph.D., P. Eng., is a seasoned process engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Process Engineer at North West Redwater Partnership since May 2022, Ali has previously held positions at Tidewater Midstream and Infrastructure Ltd and Husky Energy, contributing to refinery development and operations. A freelance process engineering specialist from 2015 to 2018, Ali began a professional career in chemical engineering at the National Oil Corporation and the University of Waterloo, where a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering was obtained. Ali also holds a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia and a Post Graduate Diploma in Oil and Gas Management from GSM London.
