Alfie Smallwoods, CMIOSH, currently serves as the Group HSQE Manager at Choice Housing Ireland Ltd and as a part-time Lecturer in Health & Safety Management at North West Regional College since May 2022. Since January 2019, Alfie has been involved with NEBOSH. Prior experience includes roles as a Health and Safety Consultant/Professional Trainer at Zenith Learning Limited, where responsibilities focused on health and safety consultancy and training, and as a Work Activity Trainer at PeoplePlus NI. Alfie's earlier career included positions as a Health and Safety Officer/Construction Manager at Martin Property Group and as a Construction Manager/Health & Safety Advisor at J M Jefferson and Sons, managing various health and safety systems and quality management practices. The career began at Castrol as a Distribution Assistant, handling administrative responsibilities for the distribution of petroleum products in Northern Ireland and County Donegal. Education was completed at Clondermott High School from 1982 to 1989.
