Gary Oakford is the Regional Employer Engagement Director at North West Reserve Forces' and Cadets' Association since July 2022. Prior to this role, Gary worked at Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service for 30 years, starting as an Operational Firefighter and progressing to Station Manager, Group Manager, and finally Area Manager. Gary has a Postgraduate Degree in Public Service Management from Anglia Ruskin University and holds a L3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety from NEBOSH. Gary is also affiliated with the Chartered Management Institute.
