The North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC) is a not for profit company limited by guarantee owned by its Full members consisting of 24 Universities within the North West Region. Vision ; Our vision is to deliver outstanding, member driven, collaborative responsible procurement services. Mission ; Our mission is to consistently drive value through responsible procurement for our members and stakeholders. The Company is owned by and works for the interests of its Full Members, all of which are Higher Education Institutions; any applications for full membership are subject to Board approval. Our Category Managers are specialists in their field. Each Category Manager is involved in tendering and contract management and acts as a link between the supplier and the universities. The main aim as per the Company Memorandum of Association for NWUPC Ltd is: ‘to work in partnership with higher education institutions to collaboratively drive value through the responsible procurement of goods and services.’ Objectives; To deliver and communicate services that support efficiencies, assure value for money and optimise the profile and benefits of collaborative procurement. To deliver outstanding customer service for our members. To drive positive change and measure the impact of our responsible procurement for the benefit of our communities. To operate a sustainable business model to support our membership. To deliver value added procurement services.
