Nasim Zand is currently serving as a Youth & Children Programming Worker at North York Community House since June 2022, where responsibilities include leading a summer camp for newcomer youths and teaching photography and visual arts. Prior experience includes working as a Settlement Worker Assistant at the Afghan Women’s Organization from September 2021 to May 2022. Academic qualifications consist of a Diploma in Social Service Work from Seneca Polytechnic (2020-2022), a Master of Arts in Photography from the University of Tehran (2011-2013), a Bachelor's degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language from Islamic Azad University (2001-2005), and ongoing studies for a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mental Health and Addiction at Seneca Polytechnic.
