Laura Leach

Laura Leach, MPNL, CFRE, currently serves as the Manager of Donor Experience at North York General Foundation since April 2023. Previously, Laura held the position of Stewardship Officer at JDRF/FRDJ Canada from March 2021 to April 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing donor stewardship as part of a significant fundraising campaign, creating stewardship plans, and coordinating recognition events. Laura also worked as the Coordinator of Development at the University of Toronto's Trinity College from August 2019 to March 2021, managing stewardship reports and donor events. Other experience includes a role as National Event Assistant for Lawn Summer Nights, which successfully raised $800,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Canada, and an internship in program development at Frontier College. Laura holds a Master’s Degree in Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership from Carleton University, a Post-Graduate Certificate in Fundraising Management from Humber College, and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Health Studies from the University of Toronto.
