Sandy Marangos has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Sandy started their career in 1985 as a Registered Nurse at CAMH and worked there until 1988. Sandy then moved on to Rouge Valley Health System, Centenary Site, where they served as a Manager in the Inpatient Mental Health department from 1990 to 2001.
Afterward, they joined North York General Hospital in 2001 as the Manager of Child and Adolescent Ambulatory Health Services, a role they held until 2007. Sandy then transitioned to Markham Stouffville Hospital, where they worked as the Director of Mental Health and Emergency Services from 2007 to 2013.
Sandy returned to North York General Hospital in 2013 to take on the position of Director of Emergency and Mental Health. Sandy held this role until October 2019 when they were promoted to the Clinical Director of the Mental Health Program.
