Roelof Von Wielligh is a Senior Engineering Draughtsman at Northam Platinum since June 2008, where responsibilities include designing General Arrangement and Manufacturing drawings, liaising with various departments, budget control, and managing CAD systems and personnel. Prior to this, Roelof served as a Technical Teacher for ten years at the Gauteng Education Department, holding positions such as educator at High School Richards Bay and Head of Department for Technology and Arts & Culture at Goudwes School in Carletonville. Roelof holds an HED Technical degree in Building Construction and Technical Drawing from POK and graduated from Technical High School Potchefstroom.

Northam Platinum Limited is an independent integrated platinum group metal (PGM) producer. The Company operates through two segments: the Zondereinde mine and the Booysendal mine. The Zondereinde lease area is also the location for the Company's metallurgical operations, which include a smelter and base metals recovery plant. The shallower mechanized Booysendal UG2 North mine is located near the town of Mashishing. Both the mines are located in the Bushveld Complex, South Africa. The Company's activities are integrated; from the underground mining function, through to the concentrating, smelting and base metal recovery processes. Its primary products are the three main PGMs: platinum, palladium and rhodium. The primary consumers of platinum, palladium and rhodium are the motor-manufacturing and jewelry industries. Northam Chrome Proprietary Limited, Booysendal Platinum Proprietary Limited and Khumama Platinum Proprietary Limited are the subsidiaries of the Company.
