Erik Shoger

Vice President, Research Analyst at Northcoast Research

Erik Shoger has a diverse work experience. Their current role is VP of Diabetes Technology at dQ&A - The Diabetes Research Company, where they have been since February 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Customer Success at dQ&A from September 2016 to February 2022.

Before joining dQ&A, Erik worked at Northcoast Research, starting as an Intern in January 2010 and progressing to roles such as Research Associate, Senior Research Associate, and Vice President, Research Analyst. Their responsibilities included conducting stock analysis, managing industry surveys, analyzing financial statements, and developing investment theses.

Erik also had brief experiences as a Contract Employee at Cleveland Research Company in 2009 and as an Instructor at Braxton Educational and Technology Consulting from January 2009 to June 2009.

In addition, they worked as a Part-Time Events Coordinator at Golf Channel from May 2007 to September 2008, where they coordinated event management aspects for competitions and served as a liaison for corporate and private sponsors.

Furthermore, Erik was involved in the Hans H. Jenny Investment Club from September 2005 to May 2008. Erik served as a Trustee, managing over $1 million in assets and contributing to the club's success in ranking as one of the top 5 managers of the college's endowment. Erik also participated in the Social Entrepreneurship Program within the club, developing a business plan for the Christian Children's Home of Ohio and successfully securing a $15,000 start-up loan.

Erik Shoger holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Baldwin Wallace University. Erik also obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Economics and History from The College of Wooster. In addition, Erik has obtained several certifications including Series 63, Series 7, Series 86, and Series 87 from FINRA.
