Deborah Edwards Northcott is an accomplished Design Director with extensive experience in the textile and home decor industries. Since September 2010, Northcott has led design initiatives at Northcott Silk Inc., overseeing the coordination of textile collections, brand direction, and new product development. Previously, at Multy Home, Northcott directed design for area rugs and mats, along with trade show display design and trend forecasting. Prior experience includes serving as VP of Design at Kingsway Fabrics, where responsibilities encompassed fabric and wallpaper collections, production management, and style photography, as well as a decade at Rosedale Wallcoverings focusing on wallcovering and coordinated collections. Northcott holds a degree from the Ontario College of Art and Design.

Northcott Silk Inc. is an International Distributor and Converter of fine cotton printed fabrics for the quilt, craft and home decor industries. Known for our "Cottons that feel like silk" we create the fabric brands you know and love: Stonehenge, Artisan Spirit, Toscana and ColorWorks. We were founded in 1935, originally as a fashion textile converter. During the mid '80s we shifted our focus to the ever expanding cotton print market. Our cotton prints can be found in retail stores and quilt shops around the world.
