Liz Forsyth has a diverse work experience across various organizations and roles. Liz started their career as a Child Protection Caseworker with the Department of Family and Community Services (NSW) in 2005, and later worked as an Intercountry Social Worker and NSW Service Coordinator with International Social Service Australia from 2006 to 2008.
In 2009, Liz served as a Contracted Adoption Assessor with the Department of Family and Community Services (NSW). Liz then joined Northcott in 2010 as a Sector and Business Development Manager, and subsequently held positions as an Area Manager, General Manager of Customer Experience, and General Manager of Supported Living.
Liz's extensive background in the disability sector led their to become the CEO of CareSouth in 2018, where they worked until 2019. Liz also served as an Executive Director and Non-Executive Director at Northcott Innovation from 2015 to 2017.
In 2020, Liz temporarily served as an Interim CEO at Creativity Incorporated before taking on the role of CEO and Managing Director at Northcott in September 2020. Liz's work experience showcases their expertise in leadership, consultancy, and business development in the disability and community services sector.
Liz Forsyth holds a Bachelor's Degree in Arts from the University of Sydney, which they obtained from 1999 to 2003. Liz later pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from the same institution, completing it from 2003 to 2005. In 2016, Liz attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for the Executive Program for NFP Leaders. Liz also completed a MAICD degree at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2019.
