Marie Perenne has a strong background in IT service management and delivery. Marie started their career at Nike in 1999, where they held multiple roles including Technical Services Manager, Network OPS Manager, and Senior Network Analyst. During their time at Nike, they managed the company's service desk, retail/network infrastructure, and IT network infrastructure for the Australia and New Zealand region. Marie also played a key role in budget management and cost reduction initiatives.

After their tenure at Nike, Marie worked as a Service Delivery Manager at Dell, where they focused on SLA management and successful project goals for large enterprise accounts in the Asia Pacific region. Marie successfully reduced incidents by 10% and improved end-to-end service delivery by enhancing communication efficiency between the business and IT teams.

Marie then joined Samsung Electronics as an Enterprise IT Service Manager, where they managed and controlled technical projects and services for various IT products. Marie provided technical leadership to the B2B Sales and Services division and improved relationships with IT vendors and service partners.

Following their role at Samsung, Marie served as a Senior Service Delivery Manager at Ricoh Australia and Senior IT Service Manager at Commonwealth Bank. At both organizations, they were responsible for managing the delivery of IT services and ensuring operational excellence.

Marie then joined British American Tobacco as the DBS Area Head of IT Services, where they led the Digital Services Team and delivered the IT strategy and roadmap for the Southeast Asia region. Marie successfully managed service and IT partners and achieved 100% compliance on Sox controls.

Most recently, Marie was the Head of Enterprise Technology at News Corp Australia, where they managed the delivery of enterprise IT solutions and ensured operational management processes were implemented. Marie also oversaw teams responsible for enterprise technology platforms and conducted regular vendor management forums.

In 2023, Marie will be joining Northcott as the Head of Information Technology.

Marie Perenne completed their education at RMIT University. From 2006 to 2009, they pursued a Master's degree in Business & Information Technology. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2005, they obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Internet and Web Computing from the same university. In addition to their academic qualifications, Marie has earned several certifications, including ITIL 4 from Infotrek (year 2021), Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile Inc. (year 2020), and ITIL Foundation 2011 from DDLS (year 2018).
