Jo Ann Simons

Jo Ann Simons is the current CEO at Northeast Arc. Jo has also previously served as the Disability Advisor at Ruderman Family Foundation, the Chair at National Down Syndrome Society, and the Chairman of the Board at LIFE, Inc. Simons has been working in the field for over 20 years, beginning their career as the Executive Director at The Arc of East Middlesex in 1993. Under their leadership, Northeast Arc has grown to become one of the largest and most respected disability service providers in Massachusetts.

Jo Ann Simons has a BA in Urban Studies from Wheaton College, a Masters in Social Work from The University of Connecticut, and a degree in Government from Trinity College-Hartford. Jo also attended Hadley School, Shaw Junior High, and Swampscott High School.
