Jonathan Baron began their career in 1990 as an Information Specialist at AIG, New Hampshire Insurance Group, providing technical support for Excel, Word, and Lotus applications and producing weekly and monthly reports for the Senior Vice President. In 1992, they moved to PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Lotus Notes System Administrator, setting up and providing security and on-call maintenance of 12 Lotus Notes corporate servers. Jonathan also provided mission critical system support of the audit program and troubleshooting for remote sites throughout New England and New York State. In 1995, they joined IDG as a Network Administrator, planning, implementing, upgrading, and maintaining network security for a staff of 50 located in five domestic offices and eight international sites as part of a 24x7 news service. Jonathan also provided support for 10 Notes servers with 5 web sites, and all networking hardware and software. In 2003, they joined Gartner as an Audience Acquisition Account Manager, building relationships with C-Level executives decision makers in the reseller/IT Channel and the end-user community to attend Gartner summits and events. Jonathan also held the role of Exhibitor Client Management/Lead Generation, increasing sales revenue through vendor support and lead generation. In 2009, Jonathan Baron became the CIO of NorthEast Computer Services, LLC, specializing in a wide range of services, including tailored IT services and solutions for small and medium businesses and their owners nationwide.
Jonathan Baron's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Business from the University of New Hampshire, which they earned between 1986 and 1990. In 1999 and 2000, they attended Boston University for the MCSE Certification Program. In 2001, they attended Boston University for Cisco Certified Network Associate.
