Lisa Hernandez

Lisa Hernandez, CPC, CPCO, CDEO, CPMA, CRC, CEMC, serves as the Executive Director of Physician Services at Northeast Georgia Health System since June 2015, with previous roles including Interim Director of Business Services and Director of Coding & Compliance. Additional experience includes facilitating MBTI training at the Center for Applications of Psychological Type, Inc. since 2012 and consulting for The Advisory Board Company. Prior roles include Insurance Manager and Audit & Payer Coordinator at Regional West Health Services, where over $300,000 in under coding was identified and rectified through education and training initiatives. Hernandez holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Information from The College of St. Scholastica and an Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology from Western Nebraska Community College.
