Shehzad Muhamed

Shehzad Muhamed, MD, MBA, currently serves as the Medical Director of NGMC Habersham Emergency Department and as Core Faculty in the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Northeast Georgia Health System since March 2020. Additionally, starting September 2023, Shehzad holds the position of Systems of Care Medical Director at the Georgia Department of Public Health, specializing in medical oversight for care designation programs. Previous roles include Emergency Medicine Physician at Georgia Emergency Department Services, Physician at Telescope Health, EMS Medical Director and Attending Physician at South Georgia Medical Center, and Chief Resident at UF Health Jacksonville. Academic credentials include an MBA from the University of Florida and an MD from the University of Florida College of Medicine, along with a BS in Psychology from the University of Florida.
