Mitch Simmons

Mitch Simmons is a dedicated professional and caretaker with experience at the Center for Independent Living since June 2017. Mitch has also been a SELF Fellow since August 2015, participating in a competitive program that enhances skills in business, leadership, management, communication, and engineering. Previous roles include serving as the Philanthropy Chair for Beta Theta Pi's Alpha Nu Chapter from April 2016 to April 2017 and as a Teacher Assistant at the University of Kansas during the latter half of 2016. Prior to these positions, Mitch worked as a Pool Technician at A & B Pools, managing maintenance for multiple pools in Fort Collins and Windsor. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the SELF Program at the University of Kansas, completed in 2020, and graduated from Fossil Ridge High School in 2015.
