Paul Smith

Paul Smith is the current Controller at Northeast Valley Health Corporation. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Vista Hospital of Riverside from March 2009 to March 2011, where they managed and secured the financial health and performance of a 40-bed, long-term acute care hospital with $28 million in revenue and 250 employees. Paul also contributed a financial perspective to managed care provider negotiations, reimbursement processes, and Medical Staff Committee decisions. Additionally, they oversaw hospital accounting functions, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, financial reporting, general ledger accounting, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR), payroll, materials management, health information management, and utilization management. Paul also vetted new capital investments in diagnostic and laboratory equipment during their time at Vista Hospital.

Before working at Vista Hospital, Paul was the Vice President - Operations Finance at Alta Healthcare from January 1998 to December 2002. And before that, they were the Chief Financial Officer at Lancaster Community Hospital from January 1978 to December 1987.

Paul Smith reports to Patricia Moraga, CFO. They are on a team with and Sherri Lewitz - Corporate Compliance Officer & Risk Manager.
