James Yansen

James Yansen, Jr. serves as an Adjunct Professor at Oakwood University since 2018 and has held the position of Senior Pastor at the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-Day Adventist since September 2011. Previously, James was an Instructor at Boston University from 2006 to 2012 and an Assistant Professor at the University of the Southern Caribbean between 1998 and 2003. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Eastern Nazarene College, a Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical and Historical Studies - Hebrew Bible, and a Master of Sacred Theology with a focus on Hebrew Bible from Boston University, along with a Master of Divinity from Andrews University and a Bachelor's degree in Religion and Theology - Pastoral Ministry from the University of the Southern Caribbean.
