Caro Murphy is an accomplished professional in the fields of interactive theater and game design, currently serving as a Visiting Associate Professor at Northeastern University, teaching courses in the Games department and the Game Science graduate program. As Co-Executive Director of the Playable Theatre Company, Caro supports interdisciplinary creators in developing interactive live performances. Incantrix Productions, led by Caro as Executive Creative Director, focuses on immersive theater experiences. Previous roles include Immersive Experience Director at The Walt Disney Company, where creative direction was provided for the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser experience, and Executive Director and Co-Founder of the Boston Festival of Indie Games, which has significantly grown since its inception. Caro has also contributed to organizations like Growth Street Consulting and Cybereason, enhancing business development and marketing strategies. Educational achievements include an MBA from Babson College and a BA from Barnard College.
