Celia Pearce is an Associate Professor of Game Design at Northeastern University, where involvement includes developing a program in artgames since September 2014. Celia has been the Festival Chair for IndieCade, supporting independent game development since January 2006. As a co-founder of Ludica since 2005, Celia has contributed to the promotion of women in games. Additionally, Celia served as Associate Professor of Digital Media and Director of the Experimental Game Lab at Georgia Tech from 2006 to 2014, focusing on multiplayer game research. Celia's expertise also includes a role as Producer/A&R Executive at Codename from 2010 to 2012 and positions at various academic institutions, earning a Ph.D. in site-specific media arts and anthropology from the University of the Arts London.
