Jeffrey Portu

Jeffrey Portu has extensive experience in enrollment systems and admissions operations, currently serving as the Director of Business Process Innovation at Northeastern University since September 2012. In this role, Jeffrey oversees undergraduate and graduate admissions systems and collaborates with university stakeholders for system enhancements. Previously, as Associate Director for Admissions Operations, responsibilities included managing the processing of over 70,000 applications annually and implementing quality control for decision releases. Experience also includes planning and executing recruitment strategies in various regions as Assistant Director of Admissions at Northeastern University and leading student coordinators at Boston College. Jeffrey holds a Master of Science in Project Management from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boston College.
