Liam Farley

Undergraduate Student Researcher at Northeastern University

Liam Farley is a current PhD student at Columbia University in the City of New York, with a background in chemistry and extensive research experience. As an undergraduate student researcher at Northeastern University, Liam is engaged in in silico screening of natural product compounds against SARS-CoV-2 proteins, building on research initiated during the NSF REU Virtual Research Experience. Previous roles include serving as a chemistry tutor and undergraduate research assistant at Reed College, where Liam contributed to atmospheric chemistry research and collaborative projects analyzing pollutant emissions. Liam holds a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Reed College and graduated with a high school diploma from Burlington High School.
