Maria van Pelt

Maria (Magro) van Pelt, PhD, CRNA, FAAN, FAANA, serves as a Clinical Professor and Dean of the School of Nursing at Northeastern University, alongside holding the position of Associate Dean at Bouvé College of Health Sciences. With extensive experience in the field, Maria is also an Executive Committee Member and Board of Directors Member for the Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation, where Maria chairs the Education and Training Committee. Previous roles include Program Director and Associate Clinical Professor at Bouvé College of Health Sciences and leadership positions at Massachusetts General Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania's Nurse Anesthesia program. Maria earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from Villanova University.
