Sedanah Mashhour

Sedanah Mashhour is a Computer Science and Business student at Northeastern University with extensive experience in software development and engineering across various sectors. Current roles include serving as a Resident Assistant at Northeastern University and previously as a Network Software Engineer Co-op at Verizon, focusing on core capacity support. Sedanah has participated in impactful projects, such as developing an affordable bionic hand to assist underprivileged children and creating a decentralized application for digital asset exchange. Additional experiences include contributing to software optimization for rocket telemetry at AerospaceNU and leading a mobile app development team at Oasis. Sedanah also improved system security for the Boston Water & Sewer Commission through automation scripting and Azure Cloud infrastructure. Earlier work as a Software Engineer Intern at Harvard involved visualizing socio-economic data to address poverty disparities among communities of color.
