Serge Pann, PhD, currently serves as the Executive Director of the Northeastern University Center for Renewable Energy Technology (NUCRET) since February 2014, where responsibilities include managing a research team and overseeing strategic vision, operations, and personnel within the center. Additionally, as Managing Director of the NSF IUCRC Center for Solid-State Electric Power Storage since June 2021, Serge plays a key role in coordinating a multi-university research initiative with substantial funding and multiple industry partners. Previous experience includes roles as Vice President at Knowledge Foundation, Director at IMSA Ltd, and Director of Overseas Operations at Ashurst Technology Corporation, along with research leadership at the Frantsevich Institute for Problems of Materials Science. Serge holds a PhD in Solid State Physics/Materials Science from Northeastern University, an MS in Physical Metallurgy from the National Technical University of Ukraine, and a certificate in Business Administration from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
