Steve Klosterman

Steve Klosterman is an accomplished academic and industry professional with extensive experience in engineering and leadership roles. Currently serving as a Professor and Industry Relations Director at Northeastern University since March 2010, Klosterman engages in mentorship, curriculum development, and nurturing relationships among students, faculty, and industry partners within the Gordon Engineering Leadership Program. Previous positions include Senior Director of Product Management at Satcon Technology Corporation, where responsibilities included managing product roadmaps for solar energy systems, and various leadership roles at Sun Microsystems, focusing on operations, manufacturing, and engineering over two decades. A professional musician since April 1983, Klosterman enjoys writing, arranging, and performing music across multiple genres as a part-time endeavor while holding advanced degrees from prestigious institutions including MIT.
