David Mayo

David Mayo is an experienced Engineering Technical Trainer and Assessor at Northern, where a career began in April 1991 following the completion of a railway apprenticeship. With a background as a maintenance engineer on various rolling stock, David has held senior roles, including Senior Team Leader and Shift Production Manager, overseeing maintenance teams and managing operational logistics. Prior experience as an Alarm Engineer at Thorn Security involved the installation and servicing of fire and intruder alarm systems. David holds a degree in Electrical Installations from Openshaw College and completed secondary education at North Manchester High School for Boys.
