Shabaz Shaikh

Shabaz Shaikh has extensive experience in collections and recovery management. Shabaz is currently the Head of Collections, Recovery & Litigation at Northern Arc Capital since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Collections at Jai Kisan from 2021 to 2023, where they managed the collection of various lending businesses and led a team of over 350 employees.

From 2018 to 2021, Shabaz worked as the National Collection Manager - Recoveries at NeoGrowth Credit Pvt. Ltd., overseeing the comprehensive collection and recovery process across India and managing a team of over 200 employees. Before that, they served as the Recovery Head - Mumbai at Capital First Limited from 2014 to 2018.

Shabaz started their career at Citifinancial Consumer Finance India Ltd in 2006 as a Collection Officer, specializing in consumer durable and two-wheeler collections. Shabaz then joined RBS BANK as a Centre Manager in banking recoveries, where they worked from 2007 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Bajaj Finserv as an Area Collection Manager before moving on to bigger roles in the industry.

Shabaz Shaikh completed their MBA in Marketing from Welingkar Institute of Management between 2011 and 2013. Later, they pursued their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with a specialization in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law at DR. RIZVI COLLEGE OF LAW, KARARI, from 2018 to 2021.
