Joshua Bartoe

Joshua Bartoe serves as Vice President of Ophthalmology Services at Northern Biomedical Research since September 2019, focusing on non-clinical research in drug and therapy delivery. In addition, Joshua holds multiple leadership positions, including IACUC Chairman and Attending Veterinarian at SENTR3 and Board Member roles at Northern Biomolecular Services, WorkAxle, and Horus Scientific. Joshua is also involved in academia as a Community Faculty Member at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine and an Adjunct Associate Professor at Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Joshua's previous experience includes directorial positions at Charles River Laboratories and MPI Research, along with an ophthalmology residency at Kansas State University. Educational background includes a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Master of Science in Virology from The Ohio State University, supplemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
