Eliana Phillips has a diverse work experience. Eliana is currently employed as a Programmer/Analyst I at NCIRE - The Northern California Institute for Research and Education since June 2022. Previously, they worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Santa Cruz from June 2019 to December 2021. During this time, they collaborated in research projects in the computer science department, developed algorithms for abstracting distributed systems traces, and wrote scripts using Python and SQL for querying sets of traces. Additionally, they held a role as a Research Assistant from June 2019 to June 2021, where they collaborated in research projects in Peter Alvaro's Disorderly Labs, focusing on developing communication patterns. Prior to that, Eliana served as an Intern at Coloumbic Inc. from May 2017 to August 2017. In this role, they participated in business and technical meetings and assisted with electrochemical research and building prototypes for lithium-air batteries.

Eliana Phillips completed their education from 2016 to 2018 at Brandeis University, where they studied Physics. From 2018 to 2020, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computational Mathematics at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Later, they enrolled at the same university and earned a Master of Science degree in Scientific Computing and Applied Mathematics from 2020 to 2021.
