Mark Burchill has a diverse professional background with extensive experience in music and business. Since September 1994, Mark has hosted "Rhythm 'n' Roots" at KRCB-FM, showcasing a wide range of musical genres. In addition, Mark has been a Disc Jockey for Mark Oldies Mobile Disc Jockey since January 1973, focusing on music that resonates with Baby Boomers. Mark served as Chair Emeritus of Rotary Means Business Fellowship, which originated from a local group in Sonoma County and evolved into an international fellowship. As a former small business owner of Advent Office Furniture, Mark managed operations and sales until April 2023, and previously fulfilled roles at AAA Business Interiors and Complete Office Interiors. Mark's career began in sales with Business Systems Unlimited, selling electronic calculators and typewriters. Northern California Public Media operates KRCB PBS, a member of the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS), KPJK an independent public media station, and KRCB FM 104.9, a member station of National Public Radio. Programming on the stations includes well-known PBS shows such as Nova, Masterpiece Theatre, NewsHour and Frontline; and radio programs such as Morning Edition, All Things Considered and This American Life. TV Digital channels, other than our primary HD broadcast signal on 22.1, include 22.2 KRCB-Create and 22.3 KRCB-NHK World Japan. On KPJK, digital channels include the primary broadcast signal 60.1, France 24 60.2, NHK World Japan 60.3, DW News 60.4, and FNX First Nations Experience 60.5. The channels serve the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Radio 104.9, 91.1, and a repeater frequency 90.9 serve Sonoma County, California. Northern California Public Media has a commitment to locally and independently produced programming. Such programs are available throughout the schedule and include Natural Heroes, Rebels with a Cause, Bay Area Bountiful and Health Connections on TV.
