Alexandra Forsyth

Alexandra Forsyth is an experienced educator currently serving as Associate Principal at North Shore Academy within the Northern Education Trust since September 2015, where leadership in teaching and learning across secondary academies is emphasized. Alexandra has held various roles, including Vice Principal and Assistant Principal focused on Deep Learning, and previously served as Head of History, achieving significant improvements in student performance in history assessments. Prior to this, experience includes teaching history at the Cellar Door in Durham and volunteer work at St Cuthbert's Hospice. Alexandra's educational background includes a Secondary PGCE in History from Durham University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Newcastle University, alongside a strong academic record at Durham Johnston Comprehensive School.
