Carlos Velarde

Carlos Velarde is the current International Sales Manager at Northern Fruit Company, Inc. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Operating Officer at BONITA PIPELINE, INC. from September 2020 to January 2021. Carlos was also the Export Sales Manager at THE FRESH CONNECTION, INC. from October 2018 to September 2020, where they were responsible for sales and procurement of fruits, vegetables and nuts from Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina, Honduras, China and Washington, Oregon and California. From June 2016 to October 2018, they served as the Director of Business Development at Dubacano. Prior to that, they were the Managing Member at Fruit Pros LLC from October 2001 to October 2016, where they founded an export company brokering fruit commodities including stone fruit, grapes, cherries and assorted vegetables. During their time there, they drew upon their industry experience and knowledge to increase sales and drive consistent growth. Carlos also led high-performance teams to peak productivity and built key relationships to expand revenue opportunities while delivering stellar customer service.

Carlos Velarde has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Harvard University, a Bachelors of Science in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture from San Diego City College, and a high school diploma from Southwest High School. Carlos also has a certification from the State of California Bureau of Real Estate in California Bureau of Real Estate Licensee.
