Mike E.

Mike E. has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Mike started their career in 2008 as an On-Air Personality and News Director at Peace Fm. Mike then worked as an On-Air Personality, handling website content and graphic design at Vista Radio Ltd from 2008 to 2012. In 2012, Mike joined TELUS as an FFH Care Agent for a brief period. In 2013, they joined Northern Health - BC as a Project Assistant in Health Promotions, and gradually progressed to the role of Communications Advisor, Communications Specialist, Manager of the Travel Resource Pool, and finally Regional Manager of Corporate and Program Communications. Currently, since 2023, Mike is the Lead for Strategic Initiatives Communications at Northern Health - BC.

Mike E. has a strong education background in the field of communications. In 2003, they attended Douglas College and obtained a Diploma of Broadcast Performing Arts, specializing in Radio and Television. Mike then broadened their skills by attending the Columbia Academy of Broadcasting in 2006, where they earned a Diploma of Broadcast Arts with a focus on Broadcasting.

Seeking further expertise in communications, Mike E. pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Communications at Royal Roads University from 2013 to 2015. Building on this foundation, they later enrolled in the same university for a Master of Arts degree in Professional Communication, which they completed in 2022.
