Bruce Liu

Bruce Liu, CEM, CMVP, has extensive experience in energy efficiency and analytics, currently serving as Manager of Analytics & Compliance at Nicor Gas since June 2018. Responsibilities include evaluation, measurement, verification support, program planning, and TRM management. Previously, Bruce Liu was an Energy Efficiency Engineer at DNV GL, where efforts focused on collaborating with local utilities to optimize energy efficiency programs through data analysis and metric verification. Bruce Liu began a career in energy auditing at American Energy Corporation, achieving a full-time position after an internship, analyzing energy usage for various commercial properties. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Northwestern University (2018-2023), a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland (2012-2014), and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University (2008-2012).
