Alicia Schatteman

Alicia M. Schatteman is currently the Vice Provost for Academic Affairs at Northern Illinois University, overseeing undergraduate curriculum, academic standards, admissions policies, and academic support units. With a robust academic background, Alicia holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Rutgers University and has served in various academic and leadership roles, including Director of the Center for Nonprofit and NGO Studies and Acting Chair of the Department of Public Administration. Additionally, Alicia has experience in nonprofit management, having previously acted as Executive Director at the Montclair History Center and as a Marketing Specialist for Middlesex County. Notable contributions include producing a podcast series and expanding community engagement through academic initiatives and advisory committees.
