Amanda Desimon

Amanda DeSimon has extensive experience in higher education and recruitment, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Strategic Recruitment Communications at Northern Illinois University since September 2013. In this role, Amanda presents information sessions, manages high school and community college visitations, and oversees recruitment events. Amanda also has a history as Acting Associate Director for events and customer service, where responsibilities included event planning, budget management, and data analysis. Prior roles include House Director at Delta Gamma, Project Coordinator at McLarney Construction, and multiple positions at Colorado State University, focusing on admissions counseling and recruitment. Amanda holds a Master’s Degree in Adult and Higher Education from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University.
