Brian Walk

Brian Walk is an experienced web developer and designer currently serving as a Senior Web Developer at Northern Illinois University since September 2001, with additional roles as Director of Web Strategy and Services, and Director of Outreach Creative Services. In these capacities, Brian leads a team of creative and technology professionals to address communication and promotional needs related to the university's community impact. Prior to this, Brian worked as a Senior Designer at Gerard Design and as a Designer at Maxwell Partners/Synaptx, focusing on identity systems, branding, and print collateral. Brian holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications, a M.S.Ed. in Instructional Technology, and a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Analysis, all from Northern Illinois University, as well as a Professional Certificate in Responsive Web Design for Higher Ed from Higher Ed Experts.
