Christine Mooney is a Barsema Professor of Social Entrepreneurship at Northern Illinois University since July 2017 and currently serves as the Director of the NIU Center for Entrepreneurship & Social Impact, a position held since October 2013. Mooney has been affiliated with NIU since August 2007, progressing from Assistant Professor to Associate Professor. Prior experience includes an instructional role at Indiana University from August 2000 to May 2007. Educational credentials include a PhD in Strategic Management/Organizational Theory and an M.B.A. in Marketing/Entrepreneurship, both from Indiana University Bloomington, as well as a B.A. in Political Science from Emory University.
