Dennis B.

Dennis B. has extensive experience in finance, governance, and social entrepreneurship. At Northern Illinois University, Dennis has served in various roles including Chair of the Finance, Audit, Compliance, Facilities & Operations Committee, Member of the Board of Trustees, and Instructor focused on Social Entrepreneurship and Microfinance since 2007. Dennis holds the position of Chairman at the NIU Foundation and has been an Investor and Board Member at Impact Engine since 2011, contributing to investments in ventures aimed at positive social impact. Additional board roles include positions at Halo Investing, Collaborative Group, and Se Mas Microfinance, among others, with a focus on empowering marginalized communities through microfinance initiatives. Dennis holds a BS in Business Management from Northern Illinois University and an AA from the College of DuPage.
