Jason Underwood

Jason Underwood is an experienced educator and leader in instructional design and technology at Northern Illinois University, serving as the Executive Director for Accreditation, Strategy, and Learning Innovation in the College of Business since May 2002. Underwood has a strong background in teaching, having instructed graduate and undergraduate courses in various facets of instructional technology, and previously held leadership roles in instructional design and development. In addition to academic responsibilities, Underwood has practical experience as a Lieutenant/Paramedic with the Rochelle Fire Department since 1995. Educational qualifications include multiple degrees from Northern Illinois University, culminating in an Ed.D. in Educational Technology.
